Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 19, 2026

Welcome to Definitive Tools (the "Service"). By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.

Definitive Tools is an open-source suite of developer utilities whose source code is available on GitHub.

1. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Definitive Tools only for lawful purposes. You must not use the tools to generate malicious files, write harmful code, or engage in any activities that violate local or international laws.

2. Disclaimer of Warranties

DEFINITIVE TOOLS IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

You can inspect the full source code and licensing details on our GitHub page.

3. Local Browser execution

Our tools process inputs entirely inside your local web browser. You are responsible for ensuring your system is capable of running these client-side calculations (such as WebGPU-based background removal or CheerpJ runtimes) and that you keep backups of any code or configurations drafted on the site.

4. Contributions and Modification

As an open-source project, we encourage community participation, pull requests, and bug reports. You may fork, modify, and redistribute the project under the terms of its open-source license. Visit our GitHub repository to learn more.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Service or access to any of the tools at any time, without prior notice, for any reason.
